I am a franch engineer specialized in Production science, but having studied what we call in France "general engineering" for 5 years. So what is "general engineering"?

It is a training to many fields such as mechanical, electronics, material science etc., that enables to understand all the different purposes of systems. Consequently, I could work as a project coordinator since I am adaptable to any field and can manage specialized people. It is a real valuable quality for me because I can work in many industries such as aeronautical, automotive..

After 5 years studying in an engineering school, I can tell that I am experienced and very motivated to work.

Throuthout my studies, I had to manage many projects with important issues, for real customers, considering financial purposes and deadlines.

Also, I have worked for THALES for 18 month: as an Operations and Methods engineer for a year, then as a Systems engineer for 6 month in Australia, both full time.

I showed that I was professional and detail-oriented. I demonstrated aptitude for understanding the fundamentals of the processes and of the systems and completed my work to a high standard and within schedule. I also proved that I like to take the initiative as I have improved some processes, for example automatic generation of metrics in order to gain time.

In addition, as an Operations and Methods engineer at THALES Microelectronics in France, I learnt to manage projects, react quickly in case of emergency, and problem solving. Not only did I have to work with the factory workers, but I also had to deal with customers, organize and lead audits with them and find subcontractors. I consequently have strong communication skills and know how to build good business relationships.

 
I now aim to work in Australia being fully involved in a company’s projects. That country sound very intersting to me as I am young and I need to explore a new culture, a new country, and use what I learnt in France.
